Ronaldo To Participate In United’s Europa League Match After Suspension From Erik ten Hag

According to Manchester United’s head coach Erik ten Hag, Cristiano Ronaldo will be back in the United’s lineup for their October 27 UEFA Europa League match against Sheriff Tiraspol.

The Portuguese star, who had refused to be brought on as a substitute during United’s victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford, was left out of the team for Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

Ten Hag and Ronaldo were said to have had a discussion before the player, who had been forced to perform fitness work alone, returned to training with the team at Carrington on Tuesday.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Ten Hag stated that Ronaldo would be participating on Thursday.

The manager said, “Yes, Cristiano will be in the squad tomorrow.

“It is not difficult. I think we said everything, we answered all the questions. He was out for one game and now he is back in the squad.”
