Skydiver Plunges To De@th After Parachute Failed To Open

Published on

A 52-year-old skydiver tragically lost her life when a “faulty” parachute did not deploy during a solo jump.

Rosana Mabel Back, aged 52, performed a jump from her usual local center located south of Buenos Aires, Argentina, when the accident occurred.

The professional writer and therapist was using equipment different from what she typically employed.

Sadly, Rosana’s parachute reportedly failed to open after she leaped from the aircraft, resulting in her fatal fall in Miramar, approximately 200 miles south of Buenos Aires, on Sunday, September 28. Her club expressed their condolences following the tragic event.

“Aero Club Miramar deeply regrets the tragic accident that occurred near the aerodrome, in which a skydiver lost her life,” the statement read. “We are providing support to her family, loved ones, and colleagues in this difficult time.”

The club further stated: “It is important to note that the Miramar Aero Club has no connection with the skydiving activity that takes place within the provincial premises of the Miramar airport. We reiterate our sorrow for what has happened and accompany the aeronautical and sports community at this time of sorrow.”

An autopsy has been ordered, and specialists are expected to examine the equipment she used due to concerns about potentially faulty components. An investigation into her death is currently underway.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
