REFLECTION
In the declaration of Christ on the knowledge of the revelation of the Father in today’s gospel is given to the little ones. Who are the little ones? Those who are poor in spirit. Those who live by the virtue of humility. Those who are obedient to the Father. When God revealed himself to Moses in burning bush in today’s reading, Moses was instructed to carry out a sign of humility and total submission (taking off his shoes). God knew Moses and call him to one of the greatest mission in the history of the people of Israel. God’s call comes to us every moment of the day but do we allow the grace of His call to get to the center of our being and work in us? Do we hinder the workings of the Holy Spirit in us by our sins. Remember Jesus says Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. For us to see God face to face, we must therefore be innocent and obedient.
Be poor in Spirit !
Be pure in heart!
