Trump Doesn’t Care If Taylor Swift Endorses Biden, Because He Is “More Popular Than Her”

Former US President Donald Trump has told advisers that it doesn’t matter if Taylor Swift backs Joe Biden because he is ‘ more popular’ than the singer.

The 77-year-old was responding to claims that the music megastar was prepared to endorse Biden, with Biden’s campaign hoping for her to join the president on stage at a rally.

According to the New York Times, Swift, who supported Biden in 2020, is on Biden’s advisers’ ‘wish lists of possible surrogates.’

According to Rolling Stone, Trump also stated that Swift’s selection as Time magazine’s Person of the Year in December 2023 was incorrect, claiming that the honour should ‘clearly’ have gone to him.

According to a Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll released this month, 18% of voters said they are more likely or significantly likely to vote for a Swift-endorsed candidate.

According to a source close to Trump, MAGA insiders were planning a ‘holy war’ against the 34-year-old.

The possibility of Swift endorsing Biden again has thrown conservative critics into a spin: Chris Cillizza, a CNN political reporter until 2022, shared a video of Fox News anchors expressing outrage and anxiety about the idea, which he captioned “They are really scared of Taylor Swift, aren’t they?”

Jason Miller, a senior strategist to the Trump team, downplayed the significance of Swift’s endorsement.

“Joe Biden might be counting on Taylor Swift to save him, but voters are looking at these sky-high inflation rates and saying, ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” said Miller.

On Tuesday, Megyn Kelly chastised conservatives for fearing Swift will impact the 2024 presidential race.

The recent claims that the Biden team has placed the singer at the top of their endorsement list for 2024 have prompted some conservatives to worry she will brainwash Americans into voting Democratic.

“I don’t know why people are so afraid of her. She does have power, she does have influence, she’s told people to go vote and something like 35,000 of them did. But registering to vote is not the same as actually voting,” she said on The Megyn Kelly Show.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
