VeryDarkMan Faces Heavy Backlash Over News Of Hacker Stealing ₦180m From ₦200m NGO Funds

After disclosing that ₦180 million was purportedly taken from his non-profit organization’s website, leaving just ₦20 million left, well-known internet personality VeryDarkMan has faced criticism.

He conveyed his anguish in a video that is currently making the rounds on X (previously Twitter), saying:

“For the past few days, I’ve not been myself. Somebody hacked into the NGO website, and I don’t know how they did it, but ₦180 million is missing.”

The disclosure comes after his NGO, which strives to enhance Nigeria’s educational system, was just launched. Hundreds of Nigerians, including celebrities, willingly donated ₦200 million after VeryDarkMan released his account details shortly after announcing the campaign.

But there has been a lot of suspicion about the reported intrusion. His allegation has been called into question by numerous social media users, who have accused him of dishonesty and expressed concerns regarding the money’ openness.
