27-Year-Old Chelsea Midfielder Announces His Departure From The Club

Saul Niguez, a Chelsea midfielder, has announced that he will leave the club this summer.

On Tuesday evening, the Spaniard revealed this in a series of tweets on his Twitter account.

Last season, Niguez was on loan at Chelsea from Atlético Madrid. The 27-year-old expressed gratitude to his Blues teammates for their support throughout the season.

Niguez will now return to Atletico Madrid, his parent club.

He tweeted, “Hello blues, I’m writing to take my leave of you. I would like to tell you how I felt during this adventure. Things didn’t start well at all. After a long time at home, changing everything wasn’t easy.

“Thank you for making this club much bigger. Thanks to all the fans for supporting me through thick and thin. I will be forever grateful.”
