Chelsea Reveals Players Set To Miss Wednesday’s Champions League match

Graham Potter, the new Chelsea coach, has listed the players who will miss his team’s UEFA Champions League match against RB Salzburg on Wednesday.

Chelsea will play RB Salzburg in the Champions League group stage match-day two on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will be playing the game after losing 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in their first group stage match.

However, at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Potter, who took over from Thomas Tuchel at the west London club, stated that N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy will not play against Salzburg.

The English man said, “Mendy will miss the game, so will NG (N’Golo Kanté) – apart from that, everybody’s fine.

“Both of those guys are progressing well, but the game’s come too soon.”

The game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
