Crime: At Least 1 Dead, 1 Wounded After Shooting At High School Basketball Game

A shootout at a high school boys’ basketball game in Tennessee on Tuesday night has left at least one person dead and another critically wounded, according to reports.

The shooting took place at Humboldt High School in Humboldt, about 88 miles northeast of Memphis. In the lobby of the school’s gymnasium.

The report said the seriously injured man was taken to a Memphis hospital for treatment.

School district officials said the shooting was caused by a dispute between two adults. He said no student was involved, WMC reported,

Earlier on, a 15-year-old suspect is in police custody over the shooting in Michigan high school.

Three people, a boy, and 2 girls reportedly died in the shooting while at least 8 people are seriously injured.

As for now, no one knows the motive behind the Tennessee and Michigan shootings.
