A list of additional motor parks where Nigerians can receive a 50% transportation fee rebate for round-trip travel during the holiday season has been made public by the federal government.
This was announced on the X (formerly Twitter) account of the senior special assistant to the president for media and publicity; Temitope Ajayi on Friday, December 29.
For those who wanted to travel during the holiday, the government had pledged to subsidize their airfare.
The 50% transportation rebate was first extended on Monday, December 25. A group overseeing the operation of the program refunded 50% of the costs of 128 road transport passengers on northern routes.
