Newcastle United Is Willing To Pay Victor Osimhen N4 Billion Annually

Newcastle United, a Premier League team, is reportedly willing to pay Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen up to N4 billion (€9 million) every year to persuade him to leave Italy.

Osimhen has been connected with Premier League clubs Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, but the Magpies are the frontrunners to get the €100 million valued player.

Newcastle sought to buy the 23-year-old in January, and if he accepts their offer, his current salary at the Serie A club will be doubled.

According to the source, Osimhen is ‘tempted’ by the offer, and it’s possible that if Newcastle avoids relegation this season, he’ll jump at the chance to play in the English Premier League.

The club, which was purchased by a Saudi-led consortium in October 2021, is aware that Napoli would sell him for at least €100 million this summer.

This season, Osimhen has 17 goals in 29 games for the Naples club in all competitions.

In five Europa League appearances for Napoli this season, he has four goals and one assist, while in 24 Serie A matches, he has 13 goals and five assists.
