Young Man Arrested After Entering Female Hostel Dressed Up As A Woman

The Adamawa State Police Command has detained a 25-year-old man on suspicion of illegal trespassing and attempted theft.

Jika John, who lives in Sabon Pegi in Wuro Chekke, Yola South LGA, Adamawa State, but originates from the Michika Local Government Area, was arrested on Monday, June 6, 2022.

He allegedly disguised himself as a lady and entered the Yola College of Nursing and Midwifery in order to steal a gas cylinder from the female dormitory.

After a distress call from the College, he was arrested.

Speaking to reporters at the Police Command’s headquarters, Suspect Jika said that a girl at the school had begged him to pay her a visit in order to have s*x with her.

The suspect claimed that on Sunday, June 5, 2022, he made plans with the girl to meet on Monday after all of her roommates would have left the hostel.

When Monday arrived, he dressed as a woman in order to gain easy entry into the hostel.

According to Jika, he was caught by security between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m, on his way to the hostel.

He stated that he intended to have s*x rather than steal.

CSP Ahmed Danjuma Gombi, the OC Crack Squad of the Police Command, responded to the questions of journalists, saying that he was not in the school to have s*x with a lady, but rather to steal gas cylinders and sell them.
