2023: “I Will Negotiate With Nnamdi Kanu” – Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has promised to dialogue with all agitators in the Southeast amid the Biafra agitation led by Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Tinubu claimed that negotiations with all agitators will guarantee peace in the Southeast if elected president in 2023

He stated this during the APC’s presidential and governorship campaign rally held in Ebonyi State on Thursday.

In opposition to using force, Tinubu insisted that negotiation was the greatest method for people to get their demands and concerns met.

If elected president, he also pledged to fund education.

He said, “Education is the greatest weapon against poverty. We are going to get our children’s education. We will reform the education sector.

“We want peace, we will talk to all agitators. You can’t get your wishes by conflict but by sitting round the table to complain.”

Despite Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the IPOB, being in DSS custody, the group has continued its efforts to realize Biafra.
