A 55-year-old individual, Isaac Moeketsi Manonye, was apprehended for the killing of his 28-year-old girlfriend, Sarah Ndini, in Seshego, Polokwane, South Africa.
The suspect made a short appearance in Seshego Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 7, 2025, and chose not to pursue bail.
It is claimed that on 05 March 2025 in Seshego, the deceased was accompanied by a witness who was dropped off at the entrance of her property as she went inside her home.
Yet, as the witness prepared to depart, she detected a disturbance emanating from the residence, and promptly, she rallied assistance from nearby community members, who then converged on the house to help.
The accused subsequently emerged from his dwelling covered in bloodstains.
The community members proceeded to enter the residence and discovered the deceased with multiple stab injuries.
They arranged for a car to transport her to Seshego hospital, where she ultimately passed away due to her wounds.
Law enforcement was summoned, and the accused was subsequently taken into custody. The case has been deferred to 25 April 2025 for additional inquiries.
The accused continues to be held in detention. In the meantime, the ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) in the Peter Mokaba Region has denounced the killing of Sarah and demanded justice.
