Anthony Joshua And Wilder ‘Agree Two-Fight Deal In 2024

According to reports, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder have agreed to fight each other twice.

This weekend in Saudi Arabia, the two boxers will compete in different matches; the American will battle Joseph Parker, while the British will fight Otto Wallin.

However, boxing writer Dan Rafael claims that they have already agreed to a multi-fight deal, suggesting that they are looking towards the future.

It is anticipated that the former world champions will sign the agreement before their Saturday night match.

According to reports from last week, if both Joshua and Wilder survive their battles in Saudi Arabia, they will square off on March 9.

That would leave the two with just eleven weeks to train for a bout.

There has been talk of a Anthony Joshua and Wilder fight for a while now. Between 2015 and 2020, Wilder was the WBC champion, while between 2016 and 2021, Joshua won the title twice.

However, negotiations between the boxers’ teams have repeatedly fallen down, and both have lost their belts, with Wilder losing to Tyson Fury twice and Joshua losing to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022.

Even if they resolve their dispute in 2024, it will still be a huge battle between two of the greatest heavyweights in the world. No titles will be at stake.
