Bauchi Governor Flags Off N7.8 Billion Assembly Complex Renovation

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has commenced the renovation and remodeling of the State House of Assembly complex for N7.8 billion. The project, expected to be completed within 12 months, aims to provide a conducive working environment for the legislative arm.

  • Renovation Scope: The project includes remodeling and renovation of the legislative complex, renovation of dilapidated administrative block, renovation of committees building, construction of assembly services commission building, construction of office of the honourable members, construction of gate and gate house, rehabilitation of internal roads and drainages, completion of the rehabilitation of the perimeter fence, construction of 100 KVA solar backup power plant, rehabilitation of water system, power house, and mosque.
  • Contract Details: The contract was awarded to Mr. Architeronics Nigeria Limited, with 50% of the payment already made. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months, although the governor mentioned a 12-month timeline.
