A devastating boat accident occurred in Jigawa State’s Taura Local Government Area, resulting in four fatalities and five missing persons. The canoe was carrying 17 passengers, mostly young girls between 10 and 13 years old, from Digawa village in Jahun LGA to Zangon Maje village in Taura LGA when it capsized mid-way.
