The redesigned naira notes has now been publicly unveiled by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
It was unveiled only minutes ago at the Federal Executive Council meeting attended by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, warned Nigerians against hoarding old notes, saying there is no going back on the January 31st, 2023 deadline to completely render the old notes unusable.
The new notes have currencies of N1000, N500, and N200.
