God gives us strength to accomplish only those things that we have made up our minds to do. There is no grace available to the unwilling. Only those who are willing and obedient eat the good of the land.
We may complain about our inabilities, but the real reason we have not been able to do anything is not that we were not able; it is that we have not been willing. To the man or woman whose heart is fixed on doing God’s will, God makes His grace abundantly available. When we are unwilling, we make excuses but when we are willing, we destroy excuses. And God makes His grace available only to those who see no options in their excuses.
And just in case you are desirous of more of God’s grace in your life, one good way to achieve it is to stretch your will a little bit more. The more we submit to Him, the more of His grace we receive and the more great things we accomplish for Him.
