Chelsea are apparently in talks with Napoli to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen on a long-term loan, with Romelu Lukaku moving in the opposite direction.
The Lukaku move is anticipated to be permanent, whilst the Osimhen negotiations are focused on a loan with the option to buy.
If Lukaku switches clubs, the 31-year-old Belgian striker will be reunited with new Napoli coach Antonio Conte.
They previously collaborated for two seasons at Inter Milan. Lukaku spent the 2023-24 season on loan at another Serie A club, Roma, where he scored 21 goals in 47 games.
Meanwhile, Osimhen has 76 goals in 133 games for Napoli, having joined from Lille in July 2020.
He scored 15 goals last season as Napoli struggled to repeat their success in winning their first Scudetto since 1990.
A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
