Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie & Her Gorgeous Look At The Launch Of ‘Dream Count’

At the Southbank Center for the publication of her most recent book, Dream Count, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie made a stunning impression.

The renowned novelist, who was styled by Somi Nwandu of Nwayi Oma, wore a metallic masterpiece by Christie Brown, a Ghanaian design business, along with eye-catching accessories.

Her dress put a modern spin on traditional elegance with its structured bodice and elaborate cutout accents. The fit-and-flare silhouette gave her ensemble a regal yet whimsical feel, and the silver fabric glistened exquisitely in the lights.

Chimamanda made equally well-considered accessory choices. She accessorized with simple Anthea Manari earrings. She added a striking splash of color to the ensemble with turquoise heels, which gave the silver color scheme a novel and surprising twist.

Chimamanda Adichie earlier for her shoot with The Guardian where she wore Andrea Iyamah. Call it what you want, but if this isn’t wear African on full display, we don’t know what that is.

Looking good is a commitment to yourself and to others. You really looked great.  Congratulations on your book lunch.
