Legendary music producer, Don Jazzy has written an open letter to upcoming artists on the need to showcase their talents.
The Mavin Record boss took his social media page to advise upcoming artists to always share their works on their pages.
According to him, he wouldn’t have reached out to some of his artists if he hadn’t seen samples of what they could do on their pages.
He admitted that posting quite frequently seems uncool, but it would be more uncool if It’s only the artists family that gets to hear their beautiful music.
Don Jazzy also shared screenshots of his first messages with some of his artists – Ayra star, Boy Spyce, and the recently signee, Bayanni.
“Dear upcoming artistes, from these 3 screenshots you can see I reached out to Ayra, Boyspyce and Bayanni myself,” he wrote in a letter posted via his Instagram page on Thursday.
“I won’t have reached out to them if I didn’t see a sample of what they can do on their Instagram pages. For the umpteenth time, showcase yourself on your page.
“I know it seems uncool to post a lot, but then again you would be an uncool artiste if it’s only your family that gets to hear your beautiful music till you give up.”
