Falz Speaks On His Fear Of Marriage

Nigerian hip-hop singer Falz, whose real name is Folarin Falana, has revealed that he is afraid of getting married.

The 33-year-old musician acknowledged that he hasn’t been in a relationship for a while and that, as a famous person, he doesn’t know what makes a perfect marriage.

Falz stated in a recent Unpack podcast episode that he is still debating whether to make his upcoming marriage public or keep it a secret.

He said; “I’m not married. I have been single for a while now Maybe I should just try marriage. I don’t know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons I am not bothered to try. When I say I am bothered, I don’t know what the ideal setup would look like.

“Being an artiste, being in the public eye, is it going to be public or coded? Or do you want to come out as a famous couple? I think these things are difficult to navigate. This is one of the biggest reasons entertainers do not get to have healthy family life. It is tough. It will always come out one way or the other. I might do it and run it coded”.

It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.
