Femi Adebayo Rejoices As “Jagun Jagun” Receives Seven Nominations For The 2024 AMAA

The movie “Jagun Jagun,” starring actor Femi Adebayo, has received seven nominations for the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

At an event on Wednesday in Lagos, officials of the board of the Africa Film Academy (AFA), AMAA screening college, and the jury were present to introduce the nominations.

For the 20th edition of the award, “Jagun Jagun” earned nominations in a number of important categories.

The Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in an African Language, the NFVCB Award for Best Nigerian Film, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Production Design, Achievement in Costume Design, Achievement in Makeup, and Achievement in Visual Effects are among the categories.

The thrilled actor informed his group and admirers of the news in an Instagram post on Thursday: “Hey guys, we have done it again! Delighted to announce that Jagun Jagun clinched seven nominations at the 2024 AMAA AWARDS nominee announcement yesterday.”

Notable personalities in attendance included the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, Shaibu Husseini, George and Chinyere Anyiam-Osigwe, Kennedy Anyiam-Osigwe, Raymond Anyiam-Osigwe, Steve Ayorinde, Francis Onwochei, Sunny McDon, Nobert Young, Segun Arinze, Alex O, Cordelia Okpei, Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson and Charles Novia.
