Drake posted a screenshot of the wager on his Instagram page. If La Albiceleste defeats France, Drake will be paid $1.75 million.
Fans are concerned that Drake’s backing of Argentina could cause problems for Lionel Messi and his team. The artist has a notorious association with the ‘Drake curse’ phenomenon.

Drake, however, lost the wager after the Catalunya team was defeated 3-1 by the defending La Liga winners.
