Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA) is urging young people to keep seizing empowerment opportunities and maintaining the community’s peace and stability. Under the leadership of Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, the LCDA has been providing vocational training to equip youths with skills for employment or entrepreneurship.
The LCDA is offering programmes in fashion design, hairdressing, shoe making, cosmetology, computer training, and entrepreneurship, among others. Hon. Odunayo praised the youth for rejecting anti-social behaviour, saying, “Your commitment to peace and progress is commendable. Continue to focus on building a bright future for yourselves and our community.”
The LCDA, he said, will sustain its support for young people through youth mentorship, sports development, and partnerships with private sector organizations, aiming to keep Itire-Ikate thriving.
