Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has opened up on her failed marriage and why she went through surrogacy.
Recall that Ini Edo got married to Edo businessman, Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but the marriage hit the rock in 2014.
In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the mother of one revealed that she regretted getting married because it was not the right move to make at that time.
Despite her failed marriage, Ini Edo is still hoping to get married again whenever she meets the right person.
On why she chose surrogacy, Ini Edo stated that she had several miscarriages which made her give up on having her child herself.
Since she didn’t have a husband, she decided on surrogacy since she was in dire need of a child.
“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages and I got tired of trying and I didn’t want to try. Since I don’t have a husband, I wanted a child for myself, so the eggw as mine”.
On if she regrets her marriage, she said, “Yes, I regret it because it wasn’t the right move to make.
I will get married again if the right person comes at my own time”.
