It is worth waiting for…

God knows your name; He knows where you are coming from and where you are headed. And beyond all these, He knows the one perfect road that leads to where you hope to be. The path He chooses for us may not look like it, but it is certainly the best. Like He did with Israel, He may choose to take us through the longer route of the Red Sea in preference to the shorter way of the Philistines. Wisdom should nevertheless instruct us that God knows what He is doing, and that always, He has our best interest at heart. Through the wilderness and by the instrumentality of patience, He prunes us daily taking away from us all things that are not worthy of the promised land.

The call to you today is to align yourself with the divine purpose, knowing that the shortest route may not necessarily be the fastest. If it is truly important to you, then it is worth waiting for.
