Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, has prayed for her daughter’s marriage to succeed.
She said the prayer at the baby shower for her daughter in Canada. She claims that although her marriage did not work out, her daughter’s will does.
Sharing a video, she wrote: “Priscilla, your marriage will work. You will grow old with your husband because in God you have married right. If mine did not work, yours will work, for I have paid that sacrifice for yours to work.”
“I want to use this to encourage a lot of mothers out there. We go through a lot. When people saw the wedding, they were like, ‘Iyabo, why this and that?’ But for me to be here today, I made the decision, whether good or bad, it is my burden to carry. And I will never deprive my children of their blessings, no matter the situation.”
She added: “There’s something called ancestral curses; for you to break it, you must stop it.”
