The funeral plans for the late actor, director, and filmmaker Kayode Peters have been made public by his family, who have disclosed that three separate nations would host the rituals.
Peters left a legacy in Nigeria’s modern theater and television industry when he passed away last month after a protracted illness.
His family thanked loved ones for their love, prayers, messages, and acts of kindness at this trying time in an Instagram statement, expressing gratitude for the tremendous support they have received.
The statement reads: “As we prepare to lay our beloved Kayode Peters to rest, from the depths of our hearts, THANK YOU,” the post reads.
“In the midst of this heartbreaking loss, your love, prayers, messages, calls, visits, support, and every gesture of kindness have wrapped us in comfort.
“Upcoming dates and locations of events – Night of Tribute [Lagos] – [22nd July 2025], Night of Tribute [London] – [29th July 2025], Burial Service & Internment [Toronto] – [2nd August 2025].”
