King Charles Eliminates Prince Andrew’s £1 million Yearly “Living Allowance”

King Charles of Britain is reportedly severing financial links with his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew.

According to the Daily Mail’s serialization of a new book by royal author Robert Hardman, Andrew’s yearly “living allowance” of £1 million (€1.19 million) has been taken away by Charles.

The action will be interpreted as yet another attempt by Charles to publicly disassociate himself from his younger brother in the wake of his affiliation with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

In his upcoming book, Mr. Hardman claims that after Andrew allegedly refused to relocate out of the 30-room home known as Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park and into the smaller, nearby Frogmore Cottage, the keeper of the privy purse was “instructed to sever his living allowance.”

It was reported that in 2003, the duke signed a 75-lease on the Royal Lodge. “The duke is no longer a financial burden on the King,” Mr. Hardman writes, citing an insider, “confirms one familiar with the situation.”

To pay for all of his expenses, he says he has discovered additional revenue streams from his contacts in international trade. If this proves to be true, it would be a positive development for everyone.

“But as to whether this funding can be relied upon in the long term is another matter.”

Charles was firing Andrew’s security at the Royal Lodge, which he had privately paid when his brother lost publicly-supported police protection in 2022, according to a Sunday, August, article in The Sun.

The previous residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Frogmore Cottage, was still unoccupied more than a year after they formally left the house, according to confirmation from palace officials in July. Earlier this year, pressure rose on Andrew with the release of hundreds of pages of court documents related to the Epstein affair.

These documents described how the financier’s former cleaner, Juan Alessi, said the duke received daily massages during his “weeks” at the paedophile’s Florida mansion.

In the court filings, there were also renewed claims that Andrew had s*xually abused Virginia Giuffre three times when she was seventeen, including during an orgy.

He has vehemently disputed the accusations, claiming that he never met her and that he paid Ms. Giuffre millions of dollars in 2022 to resolve a civil matter out of court. No reaction was provided by Buckingham Palace.
