Lady Hospitalized After Eating 32 Rolls Of Sushi At “All You Can Eat” Restaurant

A woman was admitted to hospital after devouring 32 sushi rolls at a £37 all-you-can-eat buffet, in order to maximize her money

During her two-hour stay at the restaurant, Danielle Shapiro consumed four gyoza dumplings, two jalapeo poppers, a dish of edamame, and a bowl of miso soup.

The 24-year-old recorded her dining experience at Sushi 85 in Mountain View, California, where she paid a $50-per-person price for the sushi buffet.

Danielle, a real estate agent, paid the price for her actions the next morning when she awoke with terrible stomach discomfort and ended up in the hospital with Gastroesophageal Reflux disease.

She said: “I am a huge fan of sushi! I like to eat it a couple of times a month if I’m lucky.

“My best friend Amanda was in town for the weekend and she loves sushi as well so we were both looking forward to the All you can eat sushi experience!

“The all you can eat sushi is about $50 a person so Amanda and I had to make sure we got our money’s worth, which meant eating a lot!”

Danielle, from Northern California’s San Mateo County, said in her video that she and Amanda were “rolled out of the restaurant”

After that, the estate agent slept at her boyfriend’s place and claimed she had “the worst stomach ache” but she didn’t think it was because of her large meal.

Nicole’s TikTok video gathered over 11.4 million views by startled social media users.

Danielle later posted: “I am not a morning person so when I woke up around 6 am the next day I knew something was wrong.

“My stomach and chest had intense pain and it was hard to take deep breaths.”

Danielle was taken to the hospital by her boyfriend and grandmother, where doctors diagnosed her with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, or acid reflux.

It can cause painful symptoms such as vomiting, bloating, heartburn, and a sore throat, even though it is not life-threatening.

After a few hours in the hospital, she was discharged and given medicine to treat her ailment.

However, it doesn’t discourage her from her favourite Japanese treats as She said, “I will definitely eat sushi again.

“This experience has not ruined sushi for me or the all-you-can-eat sushi experience.

“I did learn that next time I need to listen to my body and take things slower.”
