Lady Suddenly Goes Dumb After Visiting Boyfriend In Lagos

After paying a visit to her lover in Lagos, a lady suddenly went dumb.

The lady found her lover on Facebook and decided to travel to Lagos to visit him at his residence in Iyana-Isashi.

The woman, who is from Benue State, stepped out to brush her teeth the next morning after spending the night at the man’s place, only to discover that she could not speak again.

Residents were alerted, and the boyfriend she had gone to visit was arrested as a result of this bizarre episode.

According to Vanguard, the boyfriend said, “I met the victim on social media, and we became friends and then started dating.

“Last week, she came from Port Harcourt to Lagos to visit me. We spent time together everything was okay until the next morning when she woke up and decided to brush her teeth.

“She took a sachet of water from the bag of pure water inside the house.

“She stepped outside and by the time she finished brushing her teeth, she noticed she could no longer talk.

“I was scared because she spoke to me when she woke up that morning before taking water and going outside to brush her teeth.”

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, verified the suspect’s detention.

He went on to say that the suspect was released after the victim’s parents came to the police and reported that their daughter was suffering from a recurring spiritual attack.

Her parents insisted on transporting the victim to Benue State, where she would be treated.
