Meek Mill Offers To Buy TikTok

Published on

Meek Mill, an American rapper, has disclosed plans to acquire Tiktok. This coincides with the possibility of the app being banned in the US.

Recall that in April 2024, President Joe Biden signed legislation requiring the Chinese owner of TikTok to sell the platform or shut it down by January 19.

Shortly after CEO Shou Zi Chew’s meeting with President-elect Donald Trump in December, TikTok filed an appeal of the statute with the US Supreme Court.

In a news conference, Trump acknowledged that he had a “soft spot” for TikTok and said his administration will think about the app’s future and the potential for a ban.

Meek Mill has stated his plan to purchase ByteDance’s app as they await the Supreme Court’s ruling.

“Sell TikTok to me,” he wrote via X.

“If they cut off tik tok we going x and Fanbase.”
