Hello Great Mothers!
Mothering is one of the most difficult and time-consuming jobs imaginable. Mother nurtures children through different stages of development. She ensures she prepares nutritionally balanced meals and assists the children with their homework, and other things. She teaches the children values and morals and also assists her children in maturing into responsible adults. with algebra can all be part of being a mom. She learns each child’s needs and also learns the best way to lovingly fill those needs as she spends both quantity and quality time with each child. In addition to all this, she also cares for and provides her husband’s needs. Naturally, a mother gives selfless and unconditional love to her family.
However, this selfless love and service is often taken for granted. Family members believe these love and services are Mum’s responsibilities and so she does not deserve to be appreciated, or shown love in return. This makes mums feel unseen and unappreciated. These feelings can make a mother unhappy and depressed. So, what can be done when a mother feels this way? Some techniques have been discussed in my previous articles, another technique will be discussed here.
Take Time to care for yourself:
Do not be too busy to take time out and care for yourself. Nurture yourself, and get involved in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. For example; reading, exercising, or pursuing creative hobbies. Taking care of yourself improves your overall well-being and allows you to approach your responsibilities as a mother with a more positive attitude; strength, joy, and a fresh perspective. It is important to note that self-care is an essential practice for your well- being; physical health, emotional health, and resilience.
