My Womb Can’t Carry Children – Selena Gomez Reveals

Selena Gomez, an American singer and actress,l in a new interview, revealed that she cannot carry her own children because of health issues.

“I unfortunately … have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy,” the actress, 32, explained to Vanity Fair in a cover story published Monday. “That was something I had to grieve for a while.”

Gomez stated that she had never “ever said this” in public before. She was diagnosed with lupus in 2013 and received a kidney transplant in 2017.

The actress continued by saying that she is thankful for her access to medical options and that, despite the development, she still intends to have children.

“It’s not necessarily the way I envisioned it,” Selena said of welcoming a child. “I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone. [But] I’m in a much better place with that. I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me.”

We are sorry to hear about your health issues. We are sending lots of love and positivity your way. Stay Happy Always!
