Nigerian musician Orezi has penned a tribute to his deceased father. He posted a condolence message on his Instagram profile.
In an emotional Instagram post, Orezi expressed the impact of the loss and called it the most agonizing event of his life.
“In the last couple of hours, my world came crashing down. Death has taken away my guardian angel, my greatest cheerleader, my mentor & my role model.”
He continued by expressing the intense shock and sorrow he’s currently facing:
“I am shattered, confused, sad and heartbroken.
A type of pain I have never experienced in my entire life.”
The singer, whose real name is Esegine Allen, poured his heart out in the post, calling out to his late father in disbelief.
“This feels like a dream and so unreal, somebody pinch me.
Daddy please wake up!!
Oh my sweet daddy I can’t believe you’re gone, I have cried and cried but yet these tears still continue to flow.”
He ended the message with a prayer request from fans and friends, asking them to support him and his family during this difficult time.
“My dear fans, friends, please say a prayer for me and my family in this difficult time.”
