While presenting an award, she mistakenly said “Idibia” before quickly correcting herself, shouting “It’s Annie Macaulay!” and later, on social media, she has been insisting that any venue or event use her maiden name only.
Fans and onlookers at the Headies Awards and other recent appearances have witnessed her firm stance, and she’s now urging clubs and organizers to make the necessary name adjustment to avoid any confusion with her former husband, 2Baba Idibia.
