Nollywood Actor Bob Manuel Shares Heartbreaking Experience Of Daughter Facing Bullying For Being His Child

Nollywood actor Bob-Manuel Udokwu has said that his daughter was harassed while attending Queens College in Lagos because she was identified as his child.

She was enrolled at Junior Secondary School 1 when the incident happened. Udokwu, 58, clarified that despite his famous status, he and his wife chose to send their kids to regular schools so they could develop properly.

Chude noted in an interview that his daughter was singled out by certain senior students due to her relationship with him.

He said, “I have a good family. My kids are grown now. Being born and seeing your father is popular. And growing with all the inconveniences and all that.

“I remember when my daughter was in Queens College, some senior students were just punishing her for just being my daughter. Today when we talk about it, she will laugh. But it was not funny. She was in JSS 1.

“I did not want to be in their face so that I do not distract them. We agreed they were going to go to public school, because I also attended public schools.”
