Not Everyone Is Cut Out For Marriage – Uriel

Uriel Oputa, a reality TV star and YouTuber, has told people who are wondering if she is single to leave her alone because marriage isn’t for everyone.

In a statement on her Instagram page, the former Big Brother Naija participant stated that she does not feel pressure from her family or the public because marriage is not an achievement.

Uriel, who is related to seasoned musician Charles “Charly Boy” Oputa, insisted that she can verify her marital status without the help of social media.

Uriel wrote; “Marriage isn’t for everyone. If you think marriage is an achievement, that’s on you. How do you know I’m not married? Do you think everyone needs validation from social media?

“I would never post my marriage or my partner’s full face here. Age-shaming and marriage-shaming is so 2018. Let’s maintain this energy and save the lives of young m3n and women”.

Marriage is not easy. It takes compromise, sacrifice, and revealing yourself to another person. However, if you are willing to work and submit to the process, it promises great reward. Not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
