Politicians Fuelling Boko Haram To Fight Tinubu – Orji Uzor Kalu

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Alleges Political Class Sponsors Boko Haram to Undermine Tinubu
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North, has claimed that certain members of Nigeria’s political elite are funding Boko Haram insurgents to destabilize President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The former Abia state governor made these remarks during an interview on Channels TV on Monday, June 2.

“The political class is behind Boko Haram. They are using terrorism as a tool to fight Tinubu, just like they did with past administrations,” Kalu said.

When pressed for clarification, Kalu identified politicians, affluent business figures, and senior civil servants as the culprits.

“People in the political class are the ones fuelling Boko Haram. This is a political war. Some of them aren’t after money — they’re after power. They want to tear down the system just to grab control, and that’s not how power should be acquired.

The insecurity in Nigeria is politically induced. These individuals — politicians, businessmen, civil servants — are not just seeking financial gain. They’re looking to hijack political power,” he said.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
