Ronaldo’s Son Gets First Portugal Under-15s Call-up

Published on

Cristiano Ronaldo’s son has been invited up to represent Portugal’s under-15s side at a tournament this month.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr could have opted to play for Spain or the United States, but has now been called up for Portugal for the first time.

The 14-year-old followed his father to Saudi Arabia and is now playing in Al-Nassr’s academy. He has played for Juventus and Manchester United’s youth teams in his early career, and it now appears that he will get to wear the Portuguese flag for the first time.

Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s all-time top goal scorer and still a Portugal international himself at 40, has five children.

The striker won Euro 2016 with his country, helping them lift their first major trophy, although he came off hurt early in the final against France.

Fantastic! Huge congratulations to Cristiano Jr. on his success on the pitch!
