Teacher Allegedly Abused 15-Year-Old Boy She Met At Church

A teacher has been detained on allegations of s*xually abusing a 15-year-old boy she met at church.

Reagan Grey, 26, was arrested earlier this month after it was discovered she had reportedly been assaulting the kid since 2020 while volunteering at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.

She is accused of harassing the teen with s*xual images despite a previous probe. The boy’s parents discovered a plethora of text conversations on his phone at the time and reported Grey to the church’s senior pastor, according to court documents.

Grey, who also taught at Little Rock Christian Academy, was temporarily suspended from her volunteer job while seeking counselling after allegedly informing church leaders that the relationship was not “physical.”

Then, in February, police became involved after it was discovered that the teacher was still exchanging Snapchat messages with the teen, according to court filings.

According to the records, the child allegedly told federal authorities that Grey gave him oral s*x but no intercourse so he could “stay pure.” The alleged abuse, which occurred about a dozen times, took place in Gray’s car or flat, the victim claimed.

The victim claimed that Gray’s car or apartment was the scene of the roughly twelve occasions that the abuse was allegedly committed.

A church leader then confirmed to the FBI that Grey had disclosed the nature of the relationship was s*xual during a counselling session last year.

Whether the victim’s parents or the church leader informed investigators of the alleged assault was not immediately apparent.

The way the claims were handled led to the church leader’s resignation earlier this month.

In the midst of the investigation, Gray—who is currently employed at Sylvan Hills Middle School—was put on administrative leave in February.

She was charged with s*xual assault after an arrest warrant was issued.

She was later released on $20,000 bond.
