As the divorce drama between musician 2Face Idibia and his wife, Annie, unfolds, relationship expert Blessing ‘CEO’ Okoro says she has no sympathy for Annie’s position.
She claimed that Annie has spent the years hiding under the shadow of being 2Face’s wife, failing to develop herself to the point where people don’t perceive her actual identity as a person and just attach to her because she is the wife of a Nigerian music legend.
‘’I don’t think anyone put Annie in the situation. Annie is a strong person. It is the trophy. 2face is the trophy.If 2face divorce Annie now, another woman will still pick him up. He is 2Face Idibia. Let me put it here. People are going to drag me for this. There is no Annie without 2Face. It is 2Face that is the trophy. Annie actually picked up a career in acting , it flopped. It is still African queen that drives her. Without 2Face, Annie has flopped. That is what I call a trophy.”
Speaking further, Blessing stated that this is why she constantly encourages women to pursue a job.
“I have always told women, Build a career like me as Blessing CEO. I have built a name for myself. If I have to marry any man, even if it is Dangote or an Otedola, there is a Blessing CEO but a lot of women hold on to these men who are trophies.”
