Tinubu Directs Staggered Take-Off Of 14 Universities Approved By Buhari

President Bola Tinubu has directed that the take-off of 14 universities approved under ex-President Muhammadu Buhari be staggered as a result of the lack of funds.

The Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents shortly after meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.

The newly confirmed Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede; and the Secretary of the Commission, Muhammad Hammajoda, also met with the President.

The President also met with a former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, who urged Nigerians to be patient with the administration of the President as the policies embarked upon will bear positive fruit soon.
