Tinubu To Depart Nigeria For Equatorial Guinea On Wednesday

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu will start his formal three-day visit to Equatorial Guinea.

Tinubu will travel from Abuja to Malabo, the nation’s capital, according to a statement released on Tuesday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity.

According to Ngelale, President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo invited Tinubu to visit the nation in Central Africa.

The president intends to leverage the occasion of the visit to enhance the bilateral ties between Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria.

“President Tinubu will meet with the Equatorial Guinean President at the Presidential Villa on arrival, where meetings will be held between the two leaders and agreements, particularly on oil and gas and security, signed,” the statement reads.

“The President will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet who will be involved in the signing of agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations.”

We wish him a safe trip.
