Toke Makinwa, a well-known figure in Nigerian media, has once again refuted rumors that she and her best friend Farouk Umar are engaged.
The vlogger made it clear that she is still single on the X platform.
She went on to say that although nothing of the such had occurred, her parents had been contacted over her supposed engagement.
Toke declared she would never be able to plan a covert wedding.
She wrote: ” I did not get married yesterday, I deeply appreciate all your love and prayers, I see how you all desire for me to settle down and God who is the author of time will do it when he thinks it is right. Yesterday was to honor God.
“I owe you all my friends and family too much to have a secret wedding, you all have been through everything with me so know this from me, it was a thanksgiving day and nothing more. Xx
“Una don make my parents receive plenty calls but I know it’s all love, all their friends have called tayaaaaaa, I am very much still singuuuuuuuuuu.”
