Actress, singer, and politician Tonto Dikeh of Nigeria gained notoriety on Wednesday, July 24, when she shared a message regarding addiction.
The single mother, who recently counseled Nigerians against protesting, went on her own Instagram page and penned a long message of prayer for individuals who are battling addiction.
She urged her followers to pray for both those who are still suffering and those who have passed away from addiction in her caption.
Tonto Dikeh wrote: “Let us say a prayer for the ones we have lost to addictions and lend a hand to the ones who are still struggling with it. Don’t mock a pain you have never experienced, I pray that God heals and restores each and everyone of you. Love and Light.”
Being in recovery from drugs and alcohol is difficult. You have to take it day by day, even minute by minute, during the days, weeks, and months to come.
