US Leader Donald Trump sharply criticized opponents of his strategy regarding the Russia–Ukraine conflict, labeling them “stupid” and devoid of “common sense, intelligence, or understanding.”
In a post on Truth Social, the former president asserted that he had already “settled 6 wars in 6 months, one of them a possible nuclear disaster,” while contending that media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal were unjustly scrutinizing his approach.
“This Russia/Ukraine mess is Sleepy Joe Biden’s war, not mine,” Trump stated. “I’m only here to stop it, not to prosecute it any further. It would have NEVER happened if I was President. I know exactly what I’m doing, and I don’t need the advice of people who have been working on these conflicts for years and never able to stop them.”
He further remarked: “They are ‘STUPID’ people, with no common sense, intelligence, or understanding, and they only make the current R/U disaster more difficult to fix. Despite all of my lightweight and very jealous critics, I’ll get it done — I always do!!!”
Trump has consistently claimed he could resolve the Russia–Ukraine war “within 24 hours” if reelected, although he has not yet offered specific details on how he would accomplish this.
