Actress Tonto Dikeh has come under fire from well-known Nigerian influencer VeryDarkMan after a video of her leading a “deliverance” session during a school visit went viral.
The incident happened on Friday, March 6, 2026, when Tonto Dikeh posted multiple videos to her Instagram profile that showed what she called a spiritual encounter that happened during an evangelical campaign at the school.
The actress described in the films how she felt a “spirit of death” in the area as she and her group were getting ready to depart. She claimed that her colleagues started praying as soon as she informed them. A deliverance session with some of the students is said to have developed from the prayers.
In response to the videos, VeryDarkMan denounced the incident and asked Tonto Dikeh to stop including kids in such dramatic display online.
“With all due respect to Tonto Dikeh …..this is a warning do not come to my area to do this again…..na only poor man children good to test your powers, leave my area kids alone, we want to raise kids with real life orientation not an ideology that if you don’t make it there is something following you from village,prayers are good however without work prayers are not useful….Take your new content somewhere else leave ghetto kids alone,” he wrote in the Instagram caption.
