According to singer Waje, Nigerians should support those who are standing out for the rights and well-being of the average person.
In an Instagram story, Waje expressed her worries that those who speak up against economic and social inequalities encounter hostility or apathy in spite of their attempts to promote justice, parity, and improved living conditions.
Supporting these champions, in Waje’s opinion, can help build a society that is more just and equal.
“Stop stifling the voice of well meaning Nigerians that are concerned about the well being of the common man. If you do what you are supposed to do, nobody will call you out. Selah,” she wrote.
